My Snowflake

Today I learnt about patterns.

 So how I did that is I found a game that will help me with my learning.

 In the game I made a snowflake. That helped me a lot.

 In the game I started it simple, here is a screenshot.

Then I made two little points in between.

I'll show you another screenshot                                                             that's slightly different.

That looks way better than before doesn't it!

When I got it animated I paused it to make a good screenshot.

But I think I can do better. 

I made a lot of new changes and animated it.

This is what it turned out like. 

     

That's the end but if you want me to make some changes then try to comment and make sure to use your school values even when your not in school. We should be able to scooter in school!!! I believe that schools should allow scooters at play time as if it were faster that walking and running.

We should be allowed to scooter in school because it’s great for faster transport. It may not be as fast as a car but it is still fast. It is so much cheaper than a car by the way (I mean it!)

People who have not got a chance to teach people it could be their opportunity. The students could also teach the teachers! Besides someone has to teach someday.

People riding scooters may hurt others. Although scooters have brakes to stop the people that are scooting from harming small children that may or may not be warned of the risk. The people scooting are mostly the ones who have to be aware because of the children that may be smaller than them, the people riding scooters need to be aware of the smaller children it will turn out fine. So if people that are on scooters are careful with the smaller children

My main thought is that scooters are good for transport. A scooter is pretty cheap by the way.

John Lennon Info

Today we are learning about John Lennon. John was born in October 9th in the 1940. He is a singer + a song writer. He has two children, Sean and Julian. He has wrote 17 songs. He is clearly English. I am very curious of him being the actor of Harry Potter.

Chuck The Chicken

This is a recount of my experience.

Buck? moo… OINK!? After lunch Mrs McGuinniety took her inquiry group to the hall doing Kiwi Can with Katie and Nathan. We do Kiwi Can to learn our people powers.

We played Chuck The Chicken with a cow that oinks like a pig. When the game had started a small group (including me) were in a circle. The other team spread out and got prepared.

They were ready to catch the cow. My group started passing the cow. Lots of people quietly echoed on and on, ¨ chuck the chicken, chuck the chicken, chuck the chicken ¨ . Then Nathan yelled ¨Chuck the chicken!¨ so the person that was holding the cow threw it to the fielders. Next my group ran around the circle one by one. Formerly the teams had to switch so me and my team were fielders after the switch-over.

When the last round started, the teams did their jobs : me & my team began whispering “ chuck the chicken, chuck the chicken, chuck the chicken ” , The other team did their thing passing the cow. A few whispers and passes later once again Nathan shouted “ chuck the chicken! ” Louder than last time. We were ready to catch, the other team was ready to throw… SWOOSH!!!

Someone in my team caught it!

This game was super fun. I hope we play it more in the future, I felt like I could even teach chuck the chicken to my family.

My Milk Label

We have had a competition for the best milk label.

Here we need to learn the l and ml in Smarti.

In Smarti we have sloshes, dribbles and plops.

1 slosh is 1.25 l. One dribble is 50 ml. One plop 250 ml.

Money Support

I need list 2 different ways which me, my family or friends could raise money to support the athletes. 1. Donate some money to them.
2. Ask some people that you know to make their own food stands. Even you could do that if you wanted to.

Paralympics

If I was asked to compete in a tandem cycling event and I had to choose one person to compete with, I would choose my dad because he really supports and helps me when I am having trouble with something.

Eddie The Eagle Trailor

Today we are learning about... Eddie The Eagle

So there is this boy named Eddie right? Eddie had the dream to compete in the Olympics.

He had loads of enthusiasm for it. He was terrible at it, but he never stopped trying.Eddie tried Weight Lifting, Pole Vaulting, Long Jump and Water Breathing.  His father said he would never be in the Olympics.

"Your right, i'll be in the Winter Olympics" Eddie replied.

When he grew into a teenager, he still kept trying.

 He was an athlete NOT because he was good at it, it was because he kept trying!
He was a great athlete...

Bradlee Ashby

On this blog post we are learning about Bradlee Ashby. 

In Rio 2016 is Bradlee Ashby's first Olympic games.He plays Aquatics Swimming in the Olympics.  He was given birth in Hamilton.

He was born in 1995, so that means he is 21 years old. His Height is 200 cm.

 He started his international career for New Zealand in 2013 competing at an Australian young adult Olympics festival world Jr Championships.

Olympics Fencing

A sport that I would learn about would be Fencing.

 The aim of the game is to land blows on your opponent´s target area with a wobbly, blunt-ended blade as much as possible. In fencing you are allowed to choose a sword. There are three choices to pick a blade Epee, Foil and Sabre

Tom and Vinicius

So I watched a video called Tom and Vinicius. Vinicius is a cat with a white face, a yellow torso and head, orange legs, blue hands/paws and a long, green tail.

 Now Tom Is a plant. He has green feet, no toes, white knees, sky blue torso and head, orange hands, he has lots of leaves on his head as hair, the colors of the leaves are 3 types of green(obviously).

Equivalent Fractions

Today in maths we are learning about equivalent fractions. Now there are two twins, Ronald and Donald.

 It´s their birthday and they have the same cake. So Donald cuts his into 4 slices and Ronald cuts his into 5.

My Ancient Olympics

Activity 1. If I was competing in the Ancient Olympics I would play Javelin. Javelin is a type of sport when an athlete throws a very long sword-like spear as far as they can. I chose this sport because I adore Range weapons.

On Monday we did a fun activity to learn how to make someone's day.We want to learn about doing kind and nice things for other people.First we had a piece of cardboard stuck on our back's. We had to describe people's feelings and strengths so everyone was given a vivid each to describe the person who they were going to write about. I felt very cheerful at the end because... Somebody wrote "You are a STAR!!!". Man I was Thrilled.

Hmmmm, what day is it today?

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday,Thursday, Friday, Saturday or Sunday?

WAIT!!! Did Samuel’s mum just say to him it's Saturday?!?!

And its 8:24 already… Wait Sam’s here to put me on.

Is it the holidays? Wait, wait, wait, wait.

I remember yesterday Mr M said it was a holiday (gasp)

YEES!! It's the holidays!!!

Is he going to play Terraria, Minecraft, Pokemon or just stand on Arie’s fart piano?

His favorite game is Terraria so I reckon he's playing that.

Who’s playing it with him? Might be Arie might be just Sam, I don’t know.

I see he is asking Arie to play with him, but will Arie even agree?

He said “Yes!”

Sam looks like he's logging on to“Samuel”. What character though?

He's asking Arie what character to do ,but Arie says Sam can choose.

Sam picks Samuel and chooses Balony sandwich as a world.

Wooow that house is gigantic there, is that why it's called THE “Balony Sandwich” because it looks like a giant sandwich?

He has a lot of chests, Sam has a trash can for a chest.

K,k that was just too hilarious Sam likes tricking Arie into boss battles, but it's sad that he can't summon the “Eater of Worlds” because there is no corruption in that world maybe the “Brain of Cthulhu” or the “Eye of Cthulhu”. He might summon Skeletron but i don’t think so.

Ooooooooooooooo Sam’s asking Arie for lens and Arie has 13 so Sam just says he needs 12.

Sneaky sneaky, He's summoning the “Eye of Cthulhu”.Wow he has a forceful sword . It has a blue sharp blade and a golden handle. Alright now he’s defeated the Eye of Cothulu with his sturdy minishark.

Now he’s saving the game...and done! 
Great it’s 5:26 almost night...Sam has made me sit beside the wall facing him.

Yay he's playing my favorite song on Youtube, The Fox. At least there isn't a fox at the house to steal me. I hope he will do my second favorite song, nevermind, he’s doing annoying orange happy wheels.Now that makes me happy!

(annoying orange singing) “Star wars,we’re gonna play star wars,c'mon let's go,I’m probably gonna lose some limbs,makes you wanna dance,it’s gonna be fun!”.*yawn*What an exhausting day.I wonder what type of day it will be like tomorrow.
